Who We Are:

We’re supported by the North of Tyne Combined Authority, as part of their Digital Growth and Innovation Programme.

Ignite is an early-stage accelerator programme for start-ups with high-scaling potential (usually tech), established in 2011 we’ve supported more than 500 founders, who between them have raised hundreds of millions in investment and created hundreds of jobs.

The Ignite North of Tyne programmes (funded by NTCA) run twice a year, supporting 15 teams through our early stage pre-accelerator and 10 teams through our accelerator programme.

Operations Manager

Helping the Programme MD and the Ignite team to organise and schedule the North of Tyne programme, this is an admin focused role that makes sure that everything runs smoothly.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Support the Managing Director and team in scheduling and organising the Ignite NE Programme
• Logistics support for events and workshops (both online and offline)
• Maintaining database of founder resources (templates, decks, session recordings)
• Organising programme travel nationally and internationally
• Mentor and speaker management and communication
• Mentor, Workshop and Office Hour management and communication
• Leading daily communication with programme founders in our online community
• Recording and updating directory of pipeline, programme founders, mentors and alumni
• Budget tracking and forecasting
• Monitoring KPIs throughout programme and creating KPI reports

What we’re looking for:

• Attention to detail
• Experience working with Airtable and Google Sheets
• Comfortable working as part of a distributed team

Nice To Have:

• Ability to streamline our processes using tools like Zapier/Integromat
